The CSC’s primary responsibility is to focus on the School Improvement Plan (SIP). Other CSC responsibilities include: enhancing student achievement and school climate by engaging the school community in collaborative efforts supporting the school and district goals; providing strategic direction in support of the school’s mission and vision as stated in our bylaws; providing guidance and approval for the school’s annual budget and providing FOSS with direction for its fundraising.

The Slavens CSC meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 4:15 p.m., in the school library. Meetings are open to the public and we welcome and encourage community participation.
