🚗 Drop-Off Safety Reminder 🚸

To ensure student safety and keep traffic flowing smoothly, please follow these important guidelines:

• Stay within the designated cone zone and wait to open vehicle doors until reaching the end of the zone.
• Do not leave the drop-off zone early—driving over or around cones can cause damage to your vehicle and create unsafe conditions.
• Avoid parking across the street and having children cross mid-block—this puts them at serious risk of injury from passing cars.
• No U-turns in or near the drop-off zone**—this is extremely dangerous and increases the risk of an accident.
• Adults must stay in the car—staff members and parent volunteers are available to welcome your child and assist them in getting out of the vehicle. Please allow them to do so to keep the line moving efficiently.

Recent reports have highlighted near accidents due to unsafe drop-off practices, including cars making U-turns, stopping in the middle of the street, and students crossing outside of designated crosswalks.
