School Safety Reminder
As we enjoy the summer months, we want to remind our community that school grounds remain school property and safety expectations are in place year-round.
Recently, we have experienced several incidents involving fireworks and motorized vehicles on campus, including a small fires. To help keep our students, families, neighbors, and facilities safe, please remind your children that:
Fireworks are prohibited on school property.
E-bikes, motorized scooters, mini bikes, and other motorized vehicles are not permitted on school grounds.
School property should be used responsibly and respectfully.
Please be aware that Denver Public Schools Safety and Security, the Denver Police Department, and the Denver Fire Department are aware of these incidents and are actively involved. Individuals engaging in unsafe or prohibited activities on school property may be subject to further action.
