As part of our ongoing commitment to both safety and customer service, we are always looking for ways to make our front office processes more efficient while maintaining the highest standards of school security.
To help us achieve this goal, we are introducing a new, faster visitor check-in process through the Raptor Safe App and Raptor Passport. This system allows frequent visitors, such as parents and guardians, to securely verify their identity before arriving at school, reducing wait times and streamlining the sign-in process.
We encourage all families and frequent visitors to complete the setup process before the start of the next school year. Taking a few minutes now will help ensure a smoother check-in experience when school begins and reduce wait times during our busiest days.
Once you download the Raptor Safe App and complete the one-time identity verification process, you will receive a personal Raptor Passport QR code. When you visit the school, simply scan your QR code at the front office iPad to sign in and out of the building. After scanning, select the reason for your visit and wait for your visitor badge. All other front office procedures will remain unchanged.
Getting Started with the Raptor Safe App
-Download the Raptor Safe App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
-Open the app and enter your phone number.
-Follow the prompts to verify your identity by scanning the front and back of your government-issued ID and taking a selfie.
-Review your information and add a recovery email address.
-Once setup is complete, access your Raptor Passport QR code within the app.
The initial setup only takes a few minutes and will make future visits to the school faster and more convenient.
By utilizing this new system, we can reduce front office wait times while continuing to ensure a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
