For the concluding project for our Life Cycles unit, the 3rd graders researched and developed a PowerPoint presentation on the life cycle of an organism(s) of their choosing. We were allowed to pick anything “wild” (no pets). We reviewed in class (thanks to our great new data projector and a laptop) how to do internet research, upload pictures and use PowerPoint. We then spent 4½ hours in the tech lab researching our organism's life cycle, taking notes, uploading photos and creating our presentations. It was a great project and we all had so much fun learning about life cycles, the internet and PowerPoint! Ms. Pavao had a great time reading them all and she is really proud of us!
